The great peculiarity of this place is that you have to climb each of these waterfalls, making routes until you reach the end, and then throw yourself down its rocks using them as slides in each of them.

The Damajagua waterfalls are located about 36 km by car, about 45 minutes from Puerto Plata . This destination is considered one of the wonders of the province of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

   What an excellent adventure! Beautiful place, great chutes, jumps and waterfalls. What made this really special was our guide Carlos. We brought my eight year old nephew with us, he had a hard time acclimating to the water temperature and first jump. Carlos hung with him the rest of the trek, helping and reassuring him.
